What’s in your bag? (Part Deux)

Two years ago, I wrote about what’s in my bag. The website that inspired it, “InMyBag” is still thriving and contained hundreds and hundreds of pictures of people’s bags!

It’s interesting to snoop on what other people have inside their purses, their big totes, the canvas bag or even their satchels. Name-brand or plain, generic ones — you can pretty much figure out what they do or their interests just by the contents of their bags.

Thought about taking a picture of my bag again and here is the 2012 version:

KamikazeeGirl’s bag!

BAG OWNER: Publicist/Marketing Manager/Wandering Wondergirl
Brand: None – my current bag is a furuko from the Non-no X Anna Sui collaboration and came with the November 2012 issue of Non-no magazine. My latest haul of fashion magazine was courtesy of my beloved sister, the Queen.

* a furuko is a free stuff that usually comes in issues of Japanese fashion magazines

Contents:
from top to bottom, left to right

Five year old pink iPOD called IPeeeeeenk
Current travel journal gifted by immediate boss
Read, Write Japanese
Old, dog-eared copy of Lonely Planet Japan
Cute umbrella from my good friend, F
A tube of Berocca vitamins
Bench Beautiful Body Cologne (look! haven’t changed brands for 2 years now!)
Kitty glasses from my best friend
Mesh bag containing make-up: foundation, eyeshadow, eyelash curler, lip and cheek tint, wet tissues
Gatsby oil control paper
Coin purse bought at the Landmark for only PHP50 (about 1USD)
Wallet containing IDs and ATM cards

* not included in the picture is my cellphone.

What about you? Does the contents of your bag reflect what you do?
Why don’t you upload a picture and let’s see! 🙂

I’m somewhat embarrassed to look at the contents of my bag these days because it’s not neat and tidy. It used to…but now I just dump stuff in there…even though I have a bag “organizer”.

Funny thing pa is when I was young and I’d look inside my mom’s bag I’d find all sorts of papers…receipts, small notes, phone numbers etc and I’d wonder why she would have all these papers inside. Fast forward to my grown up self and I have a few of my own na din! haha

you are indeed your mom’s little girl!
if you only knew, that neat representation was only for “blog picture” purposes. In real life, my bag is also a mess! 🙂

Your ipod is around the same era as mine. I’ve been laughed at for having a “retro” ipod, but why waste money replacing something that still works 🙂

I agree! I don’t see the point of buying a new gadget just because… iPeeeenk is still working like she’s new (save for the frayed earphones).
