Today is one of the worst days of my life.
I don’t want to sound melodramatic, I don’t want to rant and gnash my teeth and blame the world for being “unfair” because the world is never unfair. Things happen according to their time.
So, even if I want to go all “dramatic” on you, I will not do this. I have been blessed ten-fold and the most I can do is to just grin and bear it.
When stressed, here’s where you will likely end up:
At a random mall in Makati, eating Manang’s Chicken.
Manang’s Chicken is a recent discovery and being a person who will die happy eating fried chicken, I am seriously loving every bite of it. The chicken is crispy on the outside and soft and tasty on the inside. The sauce coating the chicken is both tangy, sweet and salty (my kind of combination) and the sprinkling of sesame seeds added a little kick in every bite.
Manang’s Chicken is a welcome addition to the food franchises inside the Glorietta 4 food court. I love their crispy Pancit Canton and their cheesy spaghetti. My only bone of contention is the really small servings. Look at my 4 piece chicken wing side order (PHP99 for one order)? It’s not even four pieces, it’s two pieces of chicken wings, cut in half in order to make 4 pieces.
So, please…can you work on your serving size? When you have that fixed, it’s perfection.
there’s also a branch in katipunan. if i remember correctly, my sister brought home some one evening for dinner (wasn’t sure if it was a meat dish) but i loved it! another place to check out is “chic-boy”–they serve–you guessed it!–chicken and baboy!
