Sometime last year, we all fell in love with the boys of AnJell.
I was hit hard by the beauty and grace of Shin Woo, the melancholic and loving bass player who was played by Jung Yong Hwa. I was too in love with Shin Woo that I sometimes wish that he exists in real life, which when you think of is kinda 1) creepy; 2) unfair to Mr. Jung Yong Hwa and 3) irrelevant since I am married, living halfway across the world and kinda older than Shin Woo. What can I say kids, that’s creepy fan girling at its best.
Anyway, I still don’t get why Go Min Yu chose the ever snowling (sneering + scowling) Hwang Tae Kyung, except that he had the bad boy thing going down pat, and that he actually looks freaking yummy when he snowls.
But don’t look at me, I think I am incapable of making informed choices when it comes to this drama. As you can see, I always go to the torn, conflicted, tormented types as they feed the succubus in me. Hehe!
Hear my Shin Woo sing and look at his god-forsaken forlorn face and how he was such a freaking martyr and then let me know why he was such a fool!
Anyway, the reason why I am rambling on a drama that’s been finished for almost a year now is because my motherland *ehem* Japan will have it’s version of “He’s Beautiful/You’re Beautiful” titled Ikemen Desu Ne.
Here’s the trailer for your viewing pleasure:
The drama stars Takimoto Miori, AKB48’s Kojima Haruna, and of course — from Johnny’s (the go-to place for the young JPop leading man) are Tamamori Yuta, Fujigaya Taisuke, and Yaotome Hikaru. (SOURCE)
Here’s another trailer:
Hopefully, this will be as pretty (the boys, I mean) as the korean version. But of course, no comparisons.
Next thing I know, it’ll be Ikemen Paradise once again. (Incidentally, there’s another remake of Hana Kimi…hmp!)
