Due to the intensity of the quake, a tsunami as high as 1.29 meters was set off in the Pacific Ocean.
The tsunami might hit the Philippines which is located across the Pacific rim
State seismologists has already hoisted a Tsunami Alert Level 1 in the Philippines, and expect the tsunami to hit Philippine coastlines sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
