Good news for Gundam fanatics!
The life-sized Gundam first built in Odaiba will make a comeback in 2010.
CNNGo reports that the 35-ton, 18-meter tall robot will be built again in Shizuoka in July 2010. The robot, with its rotating head, flashing eyes, and with exhaust steams coming out of its vents, will be fully visible to commuters on board the bullet train.
Shizuoka, an hour away from Tokyo, is also home to Bandai, the company which manufactures the plastic Gundam model kits.
Now, I really need to save money and see that freakin’ robot up close!
